Remember Jake Taylor Pontz. Jake was born on August 14, 2005, 14 weeks premature. His parents were Lanie and Evan, and he was their first child. When was born, he was whisked away to the NICU for care. He fought for life hard, but took his last breath on August 27, 2005, at 6:14 a.m. He is now a third time big brother, one of twins, Fletcher and Alyssa, and one of the youngest, Sawyer, who Jake now takes care of.
